Topic Description
A cancer diagnosis can be a life-changing event that can impact every aspect of a person’s life, from their physical health to their relationships and emotions. In this talk, we will explore the psychological impact of cancer and discuss the emotional journey that patients and their loved ones may experience from diagnosis to survivorship. We will examine the challenges and coping strategies associated with each stage of the cancer journey, including the shock of diagnosis, the emotional toll of treatment, and the complex emotions that can arise during survivorship. We will also discuss the importance of addressing the psychological impact of cancer and the resources available to support patients and their families throughout this difficult journey.
